To celebrate the diversity of Malden, my design is a playful sampling of our population as personified by various hats. I had fun going a little over the top incorporating an abundance bright flowers, bows, patterns, and colors on a number of them. Along with the folks waiting at the stop light or bus stop, I especially hope this switchbox amuses kids and shows them that art can be everywhere.
