With this artwork I hope to evoke a sense of joy and connection with the community of Malden by using
bright colors and inspiring language. “Growing Happiness” will include floral motifs and messages of
motivation for Malden residents. This artwork was inspired by my time teaching art to middle school
children, who loved playful color palettes and straightforward messages of love and joy
