I really enjoyed getting outside and meeting the passersby as I painted. My motivation was to add color to Maplewood Sq and also show all the different ways, besides cars that people get around Malden, I also wanted my box to appeal to people of all ages.

It was great working with all of the artists, helping them get started on their switchboxes!

I thought it was really fun for the city to see them get done in a clump of time, making it feel more exciting.
