The intent of this design is to emerge the switch box into the Malden public space all year round while creating a captive but friendly image for pedestrians to appreciate when they are waiting for the bus or walking by. Given the switch box contains 4 surrounding sides, the idea will be a summarizing the four seasons on each side, the larger two sides will be for summer and winter, each featuring an animal. The goal is to create a focal point with the animal drawing while still allowing viewers to relate with the picture. On the smaller two sides, which represent spring and fall will both be covered in trees with different colors depending on the season.
